OKLAHOMA! tells a story of a community banding together against an outsider, and the frontier life that shaped America. Eighty years after Rodgers & Hammerstein reinvented the American musical, this visionary production is funny and sexy, provocative and probing, without changing a word of the text. 

Their first musical collaboration, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! was originally performed on Broadway in 1943 going on to win a special Pulitzer Prize in 1944. An Oscar-winning movie version followed in 1955 with the show boasting a wonderful score including the classic songs Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin, The Surrey with the Fringe on Top, People Will Say We’re in Love and of course the title song itself, Oklahoma.
